As a luxury travel enthusiast and a seasoned sailor from Nice, France, my recent weekend retreat at Club Wyndham Normandy was a delightful experience. Nestled in a serene location by the river Seine, this hotel offers a tranquil escape surrounded by nature, making it perfect for a relaxing holiday. the well-equipped apartments, including a spacious two-bedroom unit we stayed in, provide modern amenities and picturesque views of the gardens and the river. the indoor swimming pool was a refreshing touch, while the rare outdoor pool on a private island was a unique highlight that truly set this retreat apart. The hotel's proximity to Val-de-Reuil station and easy access to Paris by train in just 1.5 hours make it an ideal base for exploring Normandy and the bustling city of Paris. While we didn't have the chance to indulge in the continental breakfast or the indoor pool, our evenings were enhanced by the peaceful ambiance on our balcony overlooking the slow-moving water, complete with lily pads and leaping fish. The charming Potager garden, where guests can help themselves to fresh produce like courgettes, figs, and raspberries, added a personal touch to our visit. the Karma branding throughout the property and the friendly staff's mention of Wyndham's recent ownership transition gave us confidence in the hotel's quality service. Although the on-site gourmet restaurant required reservations and there weren't many dining options within walking distance, the well-equipped kitchen in our apartment allowed us to enjoy cozy family meals amid stunning river views. Club Wyndham Normandy provided us with a comfortable stay amidst beautiful surroundings, catering to our upscale tastes and desire for a peaceful retreat in the heart of Normandy. From the well-maintained gardens to the variety of amenities like free Wi-Fi and fully-equipped kitchens, this establishment effortlessly blended luxury with nature, leaving us with a memorable getaway that perfectly resonated with my penchant for seaside escapes and upscale hospitality.
